I think this place has to be the only McDonald's I go to. The drive thru is usually pretty speedy but I'm giving this a four or two reasons. They forgot to put an egg in both of my saus-egg breakfast sandwich. And also the sudden Asian invasion that's been happening here. Everyday you'll see a gang of middle aged Asians huddling in a table near the corner. Other than that, I'm lovin it.

the service at the drive-thru has gotten better. my order isn't messed up as often as it used to be. last three visits they've gotten it right. that's a record for me at this location. even though I swore never to come back (after they forgot the bottom bun of my burger), I keep returning because its convenient. :)

My favorite mcdonalds location.. grew up here, Its always the first getting renovated, well kept, clean restrooms with automated everything, huge parking lot with large spaces on all 3sides of the restaurant, great service, no mistakes ever! Never stingy with the sauces, No stupid sign limiting the amount of BBQ sauces you can get! Haha~ They recently got the new soda machines, where you can pick the flavors or whatever you get! Try peach flavored sprite:) The food, its mcdonalds. Everyone knows what it is & yelp isn't to rate what we all know. Honestly, I don't eat anything other than the ice-cream cone regularly. I can only recall only 2 times the machine went out, which is the least of the locations I frequent. Love how drive thru is now 24 hours! enjoy~!

Terrible. The manager was sick and he was coughing all over our food. Um what? Go home! Wear a mask! bleh. I've never had a bad filet of fish before. And this was quite positively the worse filet of fish ever. I couldn't even eat the thing it was that horrendous. Also, Who and what. How does a MCD run out of cups? What? 9 billion served my ass! I bet you all those fools had cups. -_-

Thanks to Judy H. for reviewing this place because this had been a forgotten place of mine. I tried very hard to suppress my memories regarding this joint. There are so many instances on why my mom would never consented for me to work at this same exact place. Flashbacks on some of the shenanigans: 1) In many times over, I remembered back then that if the person that worked at the register enter the wrong amount for the money received, they get freaked out on what to give back on the change. Even though I was a 7 year old, I can do math of $20.00 minus $6.48 will be a change back of $13.52. Apparently they rather give back $15 because they are too scared of giving back the wrong change. 2) At one time, my mom brought in one of those coupons that printed on back of the receipts you get from the supermarket. At Lucky's Supermarket, we got a "Buy One Big Mac, get the second one free". With the terms of limit of one offer per visit. When we tried to redeem the coupon, the gal at the register just freaked out because she apparently didn't know their branch of Micky D's had this offer. At first she tried to say that the coupon was for a different location (even though the coupon clearly stated the address for this location). So this poor sap tried to make my mom buy 5 Big Macs, so she can get 5 free. My mom didn't get her logic, but she didn't blinked and took the offer. She figures we can have next 4 meals of big macs for half price. There would be other misfires and other mistakes that this place will made throughout the years. As the first reviewer experienced in her drive thru, orders can mixed out without explanations. The drive thru at this place can be laughable, but I'll give them a pass because this establishment tends to have a high turn over rates when they hired local kids to work there. Giving opportunities to kids and old Senior Citizens is what I'm giving them kudos for. Big thumbs up for that. Big thumbs up for my mom too for refusing to sign a work permit for me when I was in High School. She just can't bear the thought of her son working at Micky D's. At first I thought she was just embarrassed that I want to work there, but I think it's more of a fact she wants me to work on my studies instead of getting a remedial job at 16 where the finances was not the issue. Great thing that came out of it was that she increased my allowance!

drive thru is hit or miss. I've had it where I felt I would have been in and out quicker if I had parked my car and walked in to get my food, and other times they've been blazing fast. Though a few times I'd ask for my drink with no ice, and whoa and behold when I'd get my drink from the drive thru... ice. I mean I haven't had any of them be rude to me here, just feels like someone in the back needs to crack the whip a bit. Haven't been back to this one in awhile though, I've been going to the one on Alondra & Bloomfield, faster service, and haven't had any issues there.

after years of trying to stay away from this place because of movies like super size me, i must say that this mcdonalds is pretty nice. the workers are great! ive yet to have the dreaded, yet typical drive thru experience-- you know, when youre already half way home and then you realize that they forgot your fries? but with this mcdonalds, they always get my order right & that makes me a happy camper, or shall i say happy "mc"camper? :]

i haven't had mcdonalds breakfast in about a year. (the calories make me feel guilty.) but since i only had one real meal yesterday (at 3pm), i was starving this morning. i decide to treat myself to mcdonalds. i ask for the #1 combo (egg mcmuffin) w/out cheese. i see on the verification board "w/o cheese". i get to the office, and notice...................CHEESE! i grumble to my co-workers and then notice..................NO HAM! "didn't the egg mcmuffin used to come with ham?", i ask perplexed thinking maybe i was wrong since it had been so long. then i realize they messed up and gave me no ham instead of no cheese. =( and ugh.....the orange juice is WAY TOO sweet. such a disappointment in my yearly treat. i hope today's lunch goes better. (i'm still giving them 3 stars because it IS mcdonalds. every mcdonalds i've been to messes up an order once in a while.)

McDonald's has made a nice transition from a place that I hated to a place that I - gulp - like. They now have healthier options in addition to fries and McNuggets. One of the better fast-food places in a pinch.

Probably the cleanest McDonalds around. Massive parking lot, workers are very friendly and obviously trained well in customer service.

Love Love Love their soda machine! It gives you like 60 variations. No lie. I never seen another McDonalds with the same fountain machine.

This McD's was horrible, they didn't get one thing right with our order. They screwed up our burgers, gave us the wrong size fries and even screwed up our drinks. My advice is to keep driving and find another McDonalds.

This is the worst McDonald's, there is always something wrong, from my order not being right, to not having carbonated drinks, to them just throwing ur food out the drive thru. This morning I went thru the drive thru at 5:38am the lady at the second window throws my food out the window and walks away (as she always does). I yelled multiple times excuse me so that I could ask for condiments, after sitting for three minutes waiting, the employee ignore me so I honked my horn and she walk in the other direction. She comes to the window handing me the people behind me order which she was throwing that out the window also. I tell her I have been sitting here waiting for her to come back to the window so I can ask for ketchup and syrup. She say ma'am it's in the bag. I ask her for another syrup, which she gives me. I get to work and start the prepare my breakfast and pull everything out the bag and the only condiment i have is the syrup I requested. I wish I would have got the employees name and of course it's not on the receipt. Her customer service is so bad. I had stop coming to this McDonald's for many years bc of the service and I started going back bc it is the only McDonald's in the area open at this time of morning but I am really done now and will never go back.

Not all McDonald's are created equal! NOTE: This location gets 5 stars as compared to other McDonald's and other nearby fast food. This is my favorite fast food place or McDs around. I've NEVER gotten a wrong order at the drive thru here and the people here are super nice and well-trained. The dining area is very, very clean and well staffed. Free wi-fi! I'll be honest. I don't love everything at McDonald's. The chicken sandwiches and the premium chicken strips can be a little dry, but no worse than any other McDonald's. When I get food at this location, it seems fresher than any other McDonald's. I've gotten wilty salads at other McDonald's, but NEVER at this one. The Good: - it's McDonald's...!! - the best service, staff, facilities than any other McDonald's in the area, bar none - plenty of parking - excellent drive thru service The Bad: - can't think of anything except that this location is next to a vacant lot (not pretty) and it's sometimes hard to turn into their driveway during rush hour - can get really crowded on the weekends but the staff is very quick and efficient so it's not that bad

This is the closest McD's near my place, so I stop in whenever I'm in the mood for two apple pies for a buck. It's your everyday, run-of-the-mill McDonalds, but what's cool is that: A) They have a decent-sized playground. Not that I was allowed in there, but I totally would've hit this up 15 years ago. B) They've never messed up my order. Not once. And the staff have always been friendly. That's always a plus in my book. C) All the french fries I've ordered have always been fresh off the fryer. Every time. In sum, my experiences there have been great. And now that the McRib is back, the possibilities are endless!

This review is dedicated to the newest Elite 2011, Michelle T! The other day I woke up at 0700 hrs. I start work at 0700 hrs. So I call the boys at work and tell them I'll be running late and ask if they'd like something from McDonald's. Shit, I was gonna be late anyway, might as well stop off for some breakfast. The guys say they want some sausage McMuffins with egg. No problem. Then, while I'm leaving, I get a text message from none other than Elite 2011 Michelle T saying, "911! A little birdie told me you called him to see if he wanted McD's, did you go yet? I was craving a smoothie this morning and almost stopped but thought I should try and get to work earlier." Hhhmmm, I wonder who snitched on me...I thought about texting her back telling her I already left, but being the super nice guy that I am, I called her to see if she wanted a smoothie. Of course she did. She's Elite. I get her a medium strawberry banana smoothie. We all enjoy our McDonald's. Then, later in the day, she reads her horoscope and it says that a friend will do a nice favor for her and if that happens, something sexual will happen between her and that friend. Michelle, I'm still waiting. I have a different type of banana smoothie for you.

I have been coming to this McDonalds for pretty much my whole life. It has this "home" kind of feeling for me by now. It has a playground that always has kids playing in it - and those kids are always really happy. Their service is pretty quick. If you get stuff from the $1 menu, you can pretty much fill yourself up. I always ordered the Quarter Pounder meal or the 10 Chicken Nugget meal. They have recently installed this crazy futuristic soda machine that has "over 100 flavors" or something. Keep in mind that Coke + Strawberry flavor is one flavor while Coke + Orange flavor is another. It pretty much means that you can have more than 100 combinations of drinks. It's still amazing because there are so many flavors to choose from. I don't know how it works, and I'm scared that it'll eat me unexpectedly someday. Cons: The restrooms smell so horrible and feel so dirty - I know restrooms are the dirtiest places, but it's pretty bad. Sometimes there's a scary, intimidating, rude manager on duty. I went one morning at 6am and she was yelling at all the employees for something she shouldn't have been. Something picky. I was scared. It doesn't matter though, I'm still going back and eating there a lot and continuing to ruin my health with such unhealthy food. It's just so good and I'm addicted. ...now I'm craving McDonalds again.

I came in here with my fiancée and my nephews to grab an afternoon snack. I have always wanted to try the hyped up McCafe products. So I ordered an Iced Coffee, which they gave you an option of having whole or non-fat milk. But regardless of which one you pick, at least for me, the coffee drink was not that good. I would prefer to spend a couple of extra dollars and purchase a coffee drink from one of the famous brand coffee joints in the area. My fiancée didn't get anything and the nephnizzles shared a 20 piece chicken McNuggets, which to them was pretty good. 5 out of 10

The drive thru at this McDonalds is WHACK in the morning. I could make cracks about nearly every elderly Chinese person in a 2 mile radius being in there - I'm half Chinese...I can DO that, but I won't! The parking lot is a joke (elderly Asian drivers), but the drive-thru personnel is really friendly - the line is just really slow sometimes and ppl drive stupid trying to get in the front of the line. I'll stick with the one on Bloomfield and Alondra...

I bought 65 cookies for the kids at church today. I called ahead of time so they could have them ready. The employees are not the most customer service driven but the food is usually quick , good and hot. I always try to come here. It's pretty clean. They know me by name so I usually get service with a smile. I also ordered my usually large coffee with 6 cream and 6 sugar (inside) lol!!

I had breakfast combo #2 ( egg Mc muffin) and upgraded the coffee for orange juice when I'm paying they said sorry only cash... Ok so I paid with $20 bill, and the cashier gave me around $8 when im noticed $5 dollars were missing.. Cause the combo was around $6 They look at me like I was lying and told me maybe you lost it. What an awesome answer!

Terrible customer service. When I visited the store yesterday, the machines were down so it was CASH ONLY, with signs in front of the 2 registers that were opened only, but I think signs should have been posted at the entrance doors, because when people are the registers ordering, they block the signs and some customers do not see it til they get up front, let's just say there were a lot of unhappy customers I witnessed as I waited for my order. I paid with cash so I was not affected. However, turns out there was one line for both open registers, when I had arrived there was only one lady in line and she was standing closer to register 1 (just calling it 1 so it's not as confusing), so I stood behind the person that was being helped at register 2, the lady (at register 1) gets helped and a man walks in to stand behind her, when the customer I was standing behind finished ordering, the cashier called the man that had just walked in over to his register to help him, I told the cashier "Excuse me, I was also waiting to order." To which the cashier responds, "There's only one line." I did not want to make a scene so I stood right in-between both registers to wait for the next available cashier. The lady was done being helped so the cashier at register 1 took my order. I placed my order and at the end asked them what toy they had for the happy meals, to which the cashier asked "which toy do you have?" and I barely named 1 of the 2 toys(there's 12 toys to collect) that I had and he responded "Yeah that's the only toy we have, so you have it already." Thought nothing of it, just paid for my order, but while I was waiting, a man comes in asking what toys they had, and this cashier brought out a couple of happy meal boxes to show the man, and he got a toy in which I had not collected yet. I told him "I thought you didn't have any other ones besides the Eskimo Minion." and to that he said "We don't anymore, that guy just took the last one."

Don't advertise an item on the menu board, if you are not going to have it. The largest picture of an item on the center of the menu board and you say we don't have it anymore. Not very friendly employees, no hello, no thank you, and no good bye. I guess I shouldn't expect good customer service in a fast food chain... Oh wait there is another burger place 2 blocks over that does it.

    (1)
  • Brandon A.

Quite possibly the nicest Mcdonalds in So Cal. The drive thru and inside are both open 24/7. They even have a futuristic drink machine with a bunch of flavors to choose from. It's fucking crazy. O yeah the parking lot is always busy so it's a nice meet up spot for drug deals.

  • Kris G.

Only one star because I had to actually rate it before posting.. :/ This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to, I travel a lot so this being my worst is pretty high! The service is so bad I was asking the worker a question and she completely walked away, in the middle of my question. And the food was discussing and dry. I think the "good reviews " that people are yelping on this is probably the employees, because I am honestly upset about this, waist of money!

Life Savor McDonald's This is my go to location when I am in a hurry and need something to eat or drink then hop on the freeway and be on my way! I AM NOT A FAN OF McDONALD'S but they have changed somewhat there menu to be MORE friendly and most franchises like this one followed suit! For the most part I am in an out but this location nearly ALWAYS HAS A LONG FRICKIN line INSIDE and DRIVE THROUGH! It's a pain! Yet that does not stop me! I LOVE there FRENCH FRIES better than most places and the small is just enough! Plus I can get them freshly fried with NO SLAT even if that means I have to wait! I HATE COLD FRIES! The employees are ALWAYS FRIENDLY here and the teens and young adults that work here seem to care about the job they do and their appearance! I NEVER have to look at a DIRTY SLOB when I'm giving my order or paying at the window! This particular night I wanted a fish sandwich! Yes I know it is NOT real fish and because I worked here as a teen I know that it looks like a piece of cardboard before it is fried up and served to me on a warm bun! But that is what I was craving! I'm not sure at what point cheese became GOOD with fish but since it is NOT real fish it works! I also got a strawberry sundae and a small fry. It was DELOCIOUS...well as DELICIOUS as fake fish can be with cheese on a warm bun...I LOVED IT! GO figure! Beggars cannot be choosers when they are starving on Christmas Eve and other places are closed and you don't want to go inside a real restaurant and sit at a table and your craving fake fish! Thus IT WAS SLAMMIN! I know I broke the unspoken rules and gave a compliment to McDonald's! I slipped I was desperate and I wanted a file-o-fish sandwich with cheese and tartar sauce! I enjoyed EVERY BITE TOO! Then I moved on to the French fries which were YUMMY and HOT even after I drove home and then ate them! Once I devoured all that I went to the freezer and retrieved my strawberry sundae and put on the peanuts and enjoyed it as well as I sat back and watched an old movie! Remember Jurassic Park! SOOOO GOOOD! I LOVE that movie! It was a perfect end to a long day!

5-stars for food, speed, cleanliness, free wi-fi and 24-hour lobby and drive-thru. Docked 2-stars for being perpetually out of orange hi-c. Unacceptable.

Ok that's it. I can maybe forgive you for messing up on my order time to time. And I can double triple check my order for you all the time. But I don't know how you can mess up on my OJ!!! My OJ tasted like orange flavored water. It was gross. I blamed my taste buds at first and I drank it while I was eating my breakfast. But after tasting my sister's OJ, I could clearly see the difference!! Even the color of my OJ was lighter. Do they mix water with orange powder or something? GAH!! I've had it with the awful experiences at this location. This review is not based on only one time experience. This is after 4 to 5 years of going there and talking to them everytime they mess up on my order. I was pretty nice about it too. However, no improvements!!

I try to avoid Mcdonald's as much as possible. But I love there breakfast menu. This Mcdonald's is pretty clean and efficient. When you first arrive to the drive thru it always looks like a long line. But don't be fooled. Once you place your order you will get your food very quickly. tip: breakfast goes on till 10:30 am on weekdays and 11am on weekends

Since seeing the new commercials for the "fresh baked" mini Bundt cakes, I have been craving one so we went through this drive through early one morning and of course I ordered some. They come in a pack of two. They were stale, dry and horrible, no way were these baked fresh, they had to have been at least a day old and since the little boxes they come in are not air tight they stale quickly. I was so disappointed!! I recommend you demand fresh if ordering them.

  • Daniel J.

Understaffed and a little rude but the food was like any other McDonald's so it was okay.

    (3)
  • AJ A.

Drive thru attendant was extremely rude, constantly talking over me and interrupting while trying to order. It doesn't end there. As I pull up to get the food, they forget w portion of the order and this attendant insists that I didn't pay for the missing food and asks if I have a receipt. Mind you I was still in the drive thru lane and he could've looked up at the damn screen to see that he didn't give me the burger I ordered. Alert to McDonalds employees, 3 happy meals at $29 is a bit expensive....something is missing.

Pretty good for a McDonald's. Two Coke Freestyle machines (touch screen) and giant dining area. In the mornings somebody will occasionally walk around and pour coffee refills. Crazy busy, lots of retirees in the morning.

Alright, I don't usually write reviews for fast food because I have literally no expectations.. especially for a McDonalds. However, THREE times in a row they've forgotten my sundae at the drive thru. The first time I drove off and and was already home so I had to count it as a loss. The second time, as I received the food, I looked in the bag to double check the order. The boy at the drive-thru looked insulted and immediately asked me "Something the matter?". I responded back nicely and told him I'm missing my hot fudge sundae. He went to the back and a nice girl gave me my sundae, smiled, and told me to have a nice day. No apology from the boy. The third time, I looked again in the bag, no sundae. I told the guy, "My sundae?" He checked my order on the screen, went to the back to retrieve my sundae and gave it to me. No apology again. The service is horrible at the drive-thru. I now have expectations for this particular McD.. I expect them to get my order wrong and not admit their mistakes or apologize.

This McD's has a 24-hour drive through--perfect for late night cravings. Inside is pretty clean and well-maintained. Booths are nice and large, decent music if you need a place to study or get work done.

If I could put 0 I would... Okay so first of all they BOLO my order. Reading the complaints here, I see that it happens ALL the time! Second.. they didn't even give me a straw for both of my drinks. Never asked about condiments and WORST OF ALL! ALL THREE OF MY FRIES ARE SOGGY AS FU*K! What kind of management do they run in this place! NEVER EVER COMING TO THIS PARTICULAR PLACE!

I love Ronald McDonald and the hamburgler but this place blows. It is absolutely unamerican to not take card after a certain time because they are too lazy to turn on the machine. The guy in front of me in the drive thru was very displeased about the situation and complained, yet the customer was not taken care of and instead talked about after they drove off. Now that's customer service!

This picture just proves what I hAve been telling the staff at this McDonalds for the last 6 years.. They are the best .. I love them ! They have the best customer service and never get my order wrong.. The drive thru staff are my favorite part of my day every morning !

I was there this morning at the drive Thru and the lady that was giving me the food was rushing it felt like she just wanted to throw the food into my truck. The funny thing was that there was nobody behind me so what was the rush???

Some of the workers look like they're on work release from the local mental institute but no matter - service and quality are consistently average as expected - they get the job done. Never quite a smile but also never a frown. Parking lot even has a river view. Five stars for delivering as expected. Everything I want for a $1.08 (w tax). Pulling the below average up to average - it's what makes America great - all for a buck. Support your local McDonalds and make a statement that average is sometimes good enough.

I came here one day to pay tribute to Charles Ramsey (The Cleveland,Ohio Hero who found three missing girls, who were held captive). It was a nice sunny day for a Big Mac, and what was all that ruckus inside? it was a packed house due to the fact it was a mothers day weekend, I was puzzled why were so many people? but taking out Moms to Mcdonalds?...BTW! the economy is down and the Dollar Menu is the way to go. Anyways, I came here for a Big Mac (just like Charles Ramsey did) and this time making that Big Mac with extra Big Mac sauce! hellz yah! going bonkers!...but...Evil Lynn kicked in yo! The girl who took my order (Evil Lynn) was the most unpleasant..unfriendly looking...Hilda Manila in the planet!..WTF yo!? not happy with your job Evil Lynn?...Not a peoples person Hilda? You took my order with a face of a hater! and even brushed off really hard after you dropped my order for pickup. Man! you outta be b*tched slapped! This place is lucky I gave it a two star and I ain't scared! I'll be back in here again! When I confront Evil Lynn I'll politely ask whats wrong? why you look un-happy? yada...yada...yada...Maybe If I tell her the magic words..."BY THE POWER OF GRAYSKULL!!!" she'll probably turn into She-Ra from an Evil Wench! By the way Hilda Manila, thanks for making my Big Mac with extra sauce messy! The lettuce was all over the place!!! The only cool thing in here is the custom beverage dispenser...other than that!...your a WENCH !!!

If only I can give them a zero. Went there tonight to get happy meals for my 2 BOYS. Instead they give me toys for GIRLS. When I ask the girl if I can have boy toys she tells me(with an attitude) "well we don't have any toys for boys". I said to her, "no one could've told me that when I ordered for boys?" And she replied "well I mean, do you want a refund or something?" So I drove off and went inside. Everyone working looked so unpleasant with big attitudes! I am never going back there. When I went inside I told her "what am I supposed to do with girl toys if I don't have girls?, what's the point of ordering a happy meal if I'm not gonna get what I want?" I walked out of there so annoyed! To top it off I get stale fries, burnt burgers, and an ANT in my fries! Thee worst!

This is the worst McDonald I've been to as far as food and service goes. I'm a daily McDonalds eater and I've been to many different locations so I feel like I'm a McD professional and I have a good idea of what is expected of their food and service. McDonalds is a huge chain and it's sad that one store could ruin the reputation of this remarkable establishment. It is also sad that this McDonalds location happens to be the one closest to home. 1st, the food always seems to be at room temperature, my cheese doesn't melt on my doubles, and my fries seems like it's been sitting under a heat lamp for hours 7/10 times with the taste of old oil. 2nd, I rarely get a hello, thank you, or even a smile here. I suspect management of this location is to blame :(

This place is all messed up. One of the worst mc donalds I've ever been. They didn't give the numbered recipt to their customer insted they make their customer wait around their register area and pick up the food when they are ready which makes all the people who waits their food and people who wants to order mixed up in front of register and makes really hard to find where is the line. And always short on toy stock for happy meal. Kids play area is so dirty as well as their table. Sticky and mess. They seriously needs to start manage the place.

Just witnessed an employee wiping down the dirty counter with her bare hands, munch on something with her bare hands, and continue on to put together a scrawny cheeseburger with her bare hands. Why must it be so??????? Wherefore art thou Romeo?? Sad day.

This location has the rudest staff at any fast food location I have ever been to. I do not plan on coming back here and highly suggest you do not either. The drive thru staff were extremely rude and rush you through. Yelling at me to tell her which drink I want? Hold on, I'm taking a second to see the options. Telling me the total of my order when I'm not done talking? Really? You do want my business right? Very disappointed especially because they got one of my orders incorrect.

After the Super Size option (7 ounce French Fries, 42 ounce Soft Drink) was phased out in 2004, I thought this would be an end to McDonald's reign of being the King of Fast Food. I was utterly wrong. Even after several lawsuits and a few disparaging movies (Super Size Me, Fast Food Nation), McDonald's is still the largest chain of hamburger restaurants serving 68 million customers a day, in 119 countries. Talk about franchising at it's best! This location has been around for as long as I can remember and I've been living around this area since the early 1980's. I'm talking about the days when a Big Mac used to be BIG, when anyone could buy a McDLT, and when the Happy Meal wasn't even an option for kids (the Ronald McDonald Train was the first toy ever). Man I feel old! This location seems to pass the test of time and during peak hours, the restaurant seems busier than ever with a drive thru line streching around the parking lot (open 24 hours). They always seem to upgrade this location with brighter colors each time I dine in, with flat screen TV's that aren't always turned on, and during my last visit, saw one of those state of the art soda dispensers that can give you over 100 variations of soft drinks. McDonald's still turns over profits as their creative ideas and marketing campaigns will make you scratch your head with awe as you return for more. Ever heard of McCafe? Still, I wouldn't be honest if I told you that I often get serviced by the Dumb & Dumber hourly worker that never understands what you want or will give you the totally wrong amount in change. Countless times have I screamed my lungs out as they mess up my order or try to charge me for extra condiments. I guess that's what happens when companies try to gain profits over customer service and loyalty. Overall, I've come to accept that McDonald's is still a huge part of my childhood and adolescent youth, which makes me nostalgic. Although, I swear that I will never come back to eat another Chicken McNugget ever again, I ask my nephew what he wants for lunch and he simply tells me...."MaacDonall." I GIVE UP. Addendum Try visiting the oldest operating McDonald's restaurant (10207 Lakewood Blvd, cross street Florence Ave. in Downey). It's the third McDonald's restaurant, opened in 1953. It still has the two original Golden Arches and an animated neon Speedee sign. If you didn't know, Speedee was the face of McDonald's before that creepy looking clown, Ronald McDonald.

Do not go here if you have a large order they almost always mess it up yes I can double check but they get paid to look at a screen and put certain items in a bag, I don't see the complication

Came through the drive-thru with my boyfriend around 1:30am after a friends house. Waited a long time for the guy on the intercom to even take our order. He said they were only taking cash at the moment so if you didn't have any cash, you'd still have to wait in line for all the people in front of you since you can't back out. The guy speaking didn't repeat our order and he didn't give us our total. We waited really long for our food and only ordered a few things. After we got our food, we started driving away and I realized they didn't give me my oatmeal. We stopped and a few seconds later one of the employees comes out with my oatmeal and says, "Here you go." No apology or anything. Bad/slow service. Hesitant to come here again.

This is one of my favorite McDonalds and as others have stated, it's mainly because it's open 24 hours and it's the only one I know of that has that drink machine offering that many choices of drinks. The food is pretty much the same as other locations. The parking can suck at times. As stated, the Asians love to congregate at certain McDonalds. Groups and groups of them! Some have the Chinese, some have the Filipinos, some have the Koreans, etc. This one has a little bit of all ot those. And if you go in the mornings, there are usually a LOT of old FOB Chinese, Koreans, and Filipinos there. No matter what day of the week it is! It's like the Asians don't work or something! They like to hog up all theh parking and the seating and just hang out there, drinking coffee, talking, reading their newspapers, etc. So it can be hard to find a table sometimes. If you want to escape the Asian invasion, go to one of the other nearby McDonalds, like the one on Pioneer or the one at Alondra and Bloomfield.

Asked for a Sausage McMuffin with egg whites & no cheese in the drive thru. When I got to the window to pay, the girl was arguing with another employee about an incorrect order. When she confirms my order, she says no egg. I said it was egg whites & no cheese. She asks me if cheese is okay. Staff if obviously not listening to their customers. They were getting their customers in & out quickly, but what does that matter when orders are wrong. In the end, I still got stuck with cheese. Lame.

    Inside: I think every fast food restaurant on the inside is discusting... so don't even get me started on the cleanliness... GROSS! The only time I ever ate inside here was for my stepson's team breakfast. It was on a Saturday morning and it was PACKED. The drive thru here is always crowded as well... Sometimes all the way out to South St. It is crazy! But they do always keep it moving pretty fast. Not a huge McDonald's fan but this one is a bit above average I would say.;

You know why this McDonalds deserves an automatic 5 stars? Because the drive thru AND the dining room is open 24 hours. America just wants me to get fat. Must resist late night temptations. Now that I think about it, I'm debating if I should be giving a 5 star or a 1 star.. On the other hand, everytime I come here for breakfast their hashbrowns are always hot and crunchy, not like other places where it's old and soggy.

Usually the guy at this MickyD's drive-through is really good with getting my order right... But it so happens that the drive-through worker(s) tonight committed the cardinal sin of fast foodeology - FORGETTING THE SAUCE. I'm so pissed right now. Dry nuggets = no fun.

First things first, I am not a fan of the food at McDonalds. However, I do find myself here when I'm craving coffee and Starbucks is closed or for the occasional ice cream cone. I do love the fact that this location is open 24 hours. So when I'm headed into work at 4AM and my local coffee shop isnt open, I can count on this McD's to be open for my caffeine needs. Don't get me wrong, coffee from a fast food joint? Yeah yeah I used to worry too, but this location has proved me wrong. I almost always order the Sugar Free Vanilla Latte with Nonfat milk and it's always been made to perfection. Almost gives the coffee chains a run for their money. Whether you're cravng coffee or just a late night artery clogging fast food run, this McD's has what you need. Don't expect the "best" service at 1AM though.

I'm so glad they're here and open. Sometimes you just have to dip your french fries into their ice cream cone! Do you know what I'm saying? Anyways, cheapest way to get full and have dessert. $1 menu suckas! McDouble with extra lettuce, value fries, one sweet tea, and a chocolate dipped cone. If you can, eat the cone right away while the chocolate hasn't hardened, tastes BOMB! Then once you get to the cone, start dipping your fries into it and enjoy....

I've come to this Mcdonald location which is borderline of Cerritos and La Palma. Right across from a Chevron gas station. And street name changing from South to Orangethrope. Because it's conveniently located less than 1/2 a mile away from my house :). Service - Varies. Sometimes I get the nicest and quickest customer service. Sometimes I get the dullest and slowest customer service. I hope when you guys visit... it's the better one. The manager is usually there and she is very polite and funny. Food - Like any other Mcdonalds. When it is busy or when rush hour hits, my usual McChicken's mayonaise tends to be slightly away from the bun. Nonetheless, there has been nothing wrong with my food. (No hair or spoiled food) Inside & Outside - Usually very well kept. There is someone that usually handles maintaining the inside every hour or so. Playground is outdoor and it is quite funny to read the rules sometimes. They decorate according to the holiday or occasion. Although there are great amount of seating, it still gets pretty crowded and full. The drive-thru is usually quick but can get slow when you order after midnight. There's like only 2-3 employees handling that shift? And during lunch...yes, there is a lunch rush...so drive-thru will have a line. The parking lot is decent size and shared with the nearby buildings (tutoring, nail salon, etc.)

I come to this location a LOT for their mango pineapple smoothies since it is literally located thirty seconds away from home. Their drive through service is very quick and easy, and the people are pretty friendly, too. I don't sit in a lot to eat here, but the day before yesterday I came here with a friend to study and stayed for a couple hours. I was actually pretty impressed with how the workers kept coming to clean tables and pick up trash. It isn't the cleanest/ fanciest store, but it's definitely not the worst. On Sunday mornings it gets a bit crowded, but after that the line is almost never too long. A lot of old Korean people come here to buy a coffee and sit and chat in the afternoon. Just an average McDonald's. Decent service/ cleanliness/ decor. I just come here for the smoothies. Mmmm. :)

Unfortunately the late night shift at this mcdonalds is getting worse and worse arch month. Every weekend when we order food from this place after 10pm and they also take long to make the food and are always "out " of certain thing(most likely won't make it) I hope the franchise owner reads this and shapes up the late night crew or actually gets involved with there cash cow before it dies off

I can't believe I'm writing a review of a McDonald's, but I'm finally tired of their constant screw-ups. I stopped going here for over a year. I used to go nearly daily, but got fed up with them not able to get my order right. 25% of the time, or more, if I had a special order, it was wrong and I had to have them redo it. After avoiding the place for over a year, I started going back, but only getting their salads. Pretty hard to screw that up. Well, on Tuesday, I decided on a burger. BIG MISTAKE!! I ordered a 1/4 pounder with cheese, no ketchup & no onions. Simple, or so I thought. I get the food, sit down, take a bite & the burger is swimming in ketchup. Looked at the "special order" sticker & it clearly said no onions & no ketchup. GRRR!!! I took it back, showed it to the manager & he looked at me as if I was asking for too much to get what I ordered. In the past, I have gotten the same response from other managers there. Obviously, this McDonald's doesn't get it. IF THE PERSON MAKING THE FOOD IS TOO STUPID TO BE ABLE TO READ OR (more likely the case) DOESN'T UNDERSTAND ENGLISH, DON'T HAVE THEM MAKING SPECIAL ORDERS! DUH!!!! So, now I'm back to going ANYWHERE else, but here.

Inbetwen Cerritos & la Palma. Ghetto? But still love mcdonalds. Some ppl here don't speak English well just to let u know haha lots parking ehh this place is a good walk for me and my dog but if I had a choice of a McDonald to go to, this wouldn't be it. Been coming here for awhile and its usually the same. Not crowded place, plenty of parking, and its right by another small business plaza

Been stopping at this place 2-3x a week as its in the way to work this past month. Compared to others in area this store needs help. Managers clearly run a drive thru poorly depending who is on shift. Done with wrong orders and put together stories that change from a particular manager. I will just get up earlier and frequent a different store from here on out.

  • Ecurit T.

McDonald's in general is obviously better than one star. This one, however is not. The only thing of importance in this review is that they get one star for almost always having a half/three quarters empty Coke freestyle machine. There must have been at least 4 consecutive times over a monthly period where I had gone to get a cherry fanta zero or dasani sensations, and they were out. I even tried asking employees to change the cartridges, but the act like I am an idiot. Comments to the website and phone number both go unanswered. Fortunately, the Del Taco down the street, and Burger King near my house both have freestyle machines that are always full so I don't need to return to this McDonald's again.

Awh, the Orangethorpe McDonald's.....or as my boys and I call it "Mcdicks". This is a really awesome McDonald's. First of all, they are open 24/7. So at 2 in the a.m when I am feeling like clogging up my arteries they are there for me. Other than that, their drive through is really fast and they treat me like the faceless customer that I am. Kudos McDonald's, kudos.

I sincerely can't believe i am writing a review for a friggin' McDonalds. : \ But, my recent experieince has lead me to this point. So, here's my rant! I went through the drive thru yesterday to get my family a 50 pc nugget meal. I proceeded to the drive thu. I ordered a 50 pc meal, then when he ordered me to pull up to the window, i was startled by the 7 dollar total and i noticed that he gave me a 6 pc meal. (How 50 sounds like 6 i don't know) i told him about the error and he told me to pull up to the window to fix it. So, when i arrived at the window he asked me for the total... "Uuuh, i wanted to change my order?" Then, i ordered my 50 pc meal. "We don't have a 50 pc meal." "Okay, Just give me a meal and add on the xtra nuggets on the side" fine, i pull up to the window to pick up my order, and the kid reviews my order... and before i could say anything he orders me to park ahead to wait for my order. I had to interuppt him to tell him that my fries and coke were missing from the reciept. When i told him, he said... "We don't have a 50 pc meal." O_O Now, i consider myself to be pretty patient. Even, understanding... but SERIOUSLY!?!?! I'm no genius... but, i know that if you don't have a 50 pc meal... you can simply give me a 10 pc meal and add 4 more 10 pc nuggets. Right? WRONG!! Apparently this was rocket science for their employees. I call the manager later, this guy conviently heard the entire conversation... but suddenly couldn't hear me when it was his turn to say something. I've worked customer service, i know a blow off when i hear one. I'll go there again simply b/c i'm so close. But, i'll order like i'm ordering from a 1st grader.

Every time I go to any McDonald's, I have to check my order, because a good 40-50% of the time they get it wrong. Other than that, it's junk food, plain and simple. It's a guilty pleasure, but a pleasure all the same.

It was about 3 in the afternoon.. My stomach started calling for a mighty kids 6 pcs meal. Drove to the nearest mcds location near my friend's place and got myself my mighty kids meal with drive thru. Friendly service, didn't feel rushed at all, the guy taking my order took time to make sure I've got everything I want, including a lemon in my coke. Got my order in less than 2 minutes: Hotel for dogs toy- check! Lemon in my coke- check! Hot crispy fries- check! Hot chicken mcnuggets- check! I've had two incidents where McDs at other locations failed to give me my kids meal toys Just because I'm not a kid anymore doesn't mean mcds can just voluntarily decide not to include a toy!.. Boo to that! Sometimes you can tell the fries have been sitting and basking under the heat lamp for a while after its been fried.. But the fries I got were hot and fresh off the fryer. Ok, we all know McDs is on the bottom of the fastfood pyramid.. But this McDs comparing to the other McDs I've been to.. Its definitely on the top of the service pyramid. So I give it a 5.

This McDonalds have to be the best one around the area. Both in terms of quality wise and service wise. Workers are great. I have seem workers been working here since my elementary school years :: sobbing ::. That tells you they really enjoy working here. Foods are good. I mean, for McD, I just expect my food to be cooked right. No more, no less. Accurate Billing and add/remove things that I want/don't want. I have to say their french fries are the best around the area (I am speaking of McD wise, not comparing to other stores). $1 Mc nuggets are great! I hope they will keep this on the menu and yes, the dining room / restroom are very spotless clean too!

Okay, the employees at this McDonald's, collectivley, hate thier lives and make it appearant through thier mediocre customer service. The drive-thru ppl are the worst! Just this morning, I drive up to the pay window and there is no greeting. I say "Good Morning" and she says "Burrito & Oatmeal?...and did u want a Water too?" HUH? I get to the pick-up window, and that lady practically throws the bag out the window at me!! She didn't greet me either! It's a shame that I won't frequent this establishment any longer; it is sooooooo close to my office. I'll take my business to the one on Alondra...

This is one of the only things I patronize in the city of La Palma. There just isn't much commerce here...and early on in my life, I actually thought this place was on the Cerritos side of the border. Technically, it is La Palma (it can't be Cerritos because of the drive-thru) right where Los Angeles County ends and Orange County begins. This McDonald's had one renovation during my life in fairly recent years, and I've seen this place really turn around since then. The restaurant is kept clean and well-maintained, which is always a plus if you're the type that likes to dine in. Though some of the people who work there may seem like they're having a hard time or may screw up, I overlook it because I realize that the owner is truly being an 'equal opportunity employer' by hiring people with special needs or the elderly or youths at risk (groups that often are discriminated against in employment). The crowd at this McDonald's is very ethnically diverse, but as classy as you can get for a McDonald's. This McDonald's serves a complete McDonald's menu. Some places, as you may know, don't have every item advertised. This is especially true with McDonald's that are located in food courts and malls. They're also pretty good about taking some special requests, like no salt on fries or no mayo on your angus mushroom burger. The drive thru can get kind of long, so lots of people just end up parking and ordering inside the restaurant. Popularity is one word that describes this particular McDonald's, especially in the mornings. You get a few old timers hanging out here that may monopolize certain tables for hours, but it works out for the most part. When I do visit this location, I typically eat near the television (which is always set to CNN) and try and catch up on some news. Now, if the owner updates his television to a flat-screen LCD, that will take the cake. Hell, he should put in several throughout the place all set to the news (something educational and intellectual) for a change.
